Review 2: I am always able to fall right into books by Giffin and this was no exception but, about 1/2 way in I completely lost interest in how this book would end. more ly, just not so much the Marian story line on its own. I will concede that it does wrap up the Kirby/Marian story line nice. However, this is a common gripe that I have with Giffin books. The only thing I really disliked was the ending, simply because it seemed rushed and like the story didn't end where it does. There were a few things that I disliked about this novel, but a sped through it and ended up really enjoying it.

That's definitely true in this book - I like that Kirby felt like a teenage girl (complete with the attitude problem) and that Marian is put together but sometimes emotionally shut off. My favorite thing about Giffin as an author is that her characters seem real and flawed and the situations never seem too far outside of reality. Review 1: I really enjoyed this book and it was the start of an Emily Giffin binge for me.
